Premium Etched Dragon Tingsha Cymbals
In Buddhism the Dragon, as a symbol of strength, can represent anything from power to warrior.
Tibetan Tingsha cymbals or chimes are traditionally used by Tibetan Buddhists to mark the beginning and end of meditation. They are also used by a Buddhist master to bring a student back into focus when his mind wanders during meditation.
Our chimes are made in Nepal of an alloy of bronze, iron and zinc. This is a premium Tingsha, made with higher quality metal for better sound and resonance
The sound is penetrating and purposely dissonant unlike the harmonic overtones of the Tibetan singing bowls.
Over 2.25 inches in diameter. Comes with a beautiful black and gold velvet carrying case.
