Mystical and magical hand-carved Brazilian Clear Quartz drop pendant with the gift of a phantom inside. This petite hand-carved crystal hangs from a 925 Sterling yellow gold plated bale and a 16" rope chain. Measures 1" long, and 3/8" wide.

Phantoms are phenomena of nature, both captivating and stunningly beautiful. Caused by a disruption in nature, mineral deposits create these ghost-like qualities within the crystal strata. The pendant's phantom Quartz Crystal shows the ghostly outline of another crystal inside the major crystal forming the outline of a mountain peak.

In "geological speak", the first Quartz Crystal stopped growing due to lack of a source, or SiO2, solution. During this rest time, cave dust settled upon the original crystalline structure. When the source solution was reintroduced into the cave, rather than a new and separate crystal forming, the source solution reformed over the original crystal, entrapping the cave dust or dirt and giving the crystal a ghostly look, thus the name “phantom”.  

This rare occurrence reminds us of a rebirth of sorts … carrying with us the original soul imprint with added soul “dust" making this type of crystal an excellent meditation tool for examining one's life at a deep level and may be beneficial for tapping into past lives as well.
