Brazilian Clear Quartz Crystal Wands with veils, phantoms or blue needles that add to the beauty of each individual wand. The unique characteristics that appear in these crystals are natural growth inclusions and are an inherent quality making each one unique. These qualities do not effect the flow of energy in any way as they are a part of the crystal unlike other inclusions that may be another metal or mineral that became trapped within the quartz. 

What are natural growth inclusions?

Phantoms are phenomena of nature. In "geological speak", the first Quartz Crystal stopped growing due to lack of a source, or SiO2, solution. During this rest time, cave dust settled upon the original crystalline structure. When the source solution was reintroduced into the cave, rather than a new and separate crystal forming, the source solution reformed over the original crystal, entrapping the cave dust or dirt and giving the crystal a ghostly look, thus the name “phantom”.  

Veils are simply trapped air or water molecules that have created a "veil" like appearance within the inner landscape of the crystal.  Many times these appear with floating crystals and resemble a galaxy within the crystal. 

Blue needles or Blue Rays are thought to be trapped gas that was introduced sometime during the growth process creating a captivating effect of blue needles or rays that can only be seen with a hot light or other bright light.

Floating Crystals are Clear quartz that has chipped off some time during the growth of the crystal and appears to be floating within the inner landscape of the crystal. They add sparkles as light catches them.

These Vogel-Inspired crystals are cut with 6 facets cut to exacting angles perfect for crystal healing work. Why do we say Vogel-Inspired?  These wand is cut from quality natural quartz, cut along the c-axis, with precise angles as prescribed.  The only variation is that it is not cut by a "Vogel" cutter therefore it doesn't command the same pricing. 

The six facets represent the shape of Quartz Crystal in nature. (Have you ever noticed that all raw quartz crystals have six faces?) Six is the number repeated in the structure of all nature.
